Indian Crest

Last week I returned to Indian Crest. Indian Crest has turned into a middle school serving 6-8 graders as opposed to the Junior High it used to be. It is always so exciting to go back to Indian Crest and every time I am there I have such an amazing experience. This year was no different. The group that I worked with this year had personality plus and they certainly took their roles seriously. I was so impressed with their confidence and strength as we discussed serious issues and got to the heart of the program.

Their performances on Friday kept the audiences silent – an absolute tribute to how mesmerizing they were. They also responded to some post performance questions with grace. Overall, I think they had a tremendous impact on their classmates and I hope they received positive feedback from everyone!

Paige, Aaron, Sarah, Lenny, Aubrey, Dani, Awesome, Carson, Krista, Ariel, Nathan, and Naiomi….it was such a pleasure to work with you all last week. You are certainly an entertaining bunch! I know you made an huge impact on your school and I hope you keep me posted about the positive feedback you receive.     Jill it was great working with u last year i miss it alot!!! I’ll gladly say that this was one of the things that I am most proud of doing in Middle school! we still talk about it (it came up in health the other day) hope all is well cant wait to hear who is in it this year!!

    Hi Jill! Thanks so much for this amazing experience, I’m doing my senior project presentation tomorrow the 25th and I’m using this experience as one of my key points. I wrote a book about bullying with aspects of bystanders in it and it definitely opened my eyes to see it’s not just about a victim and the bully there are other aspects that go into as well!
